The Cheapest Computer on the Web PT1: Sounds like a bold claim, but, it's really common sense. People pay extraordinary amounts of money for "Computer Systems". The fact is, if you buy everything piece by piece it's way cheaper. In basic a computer system is a Tower, Monitor, Mouse & Keyboard. A mouse and keyboard can be as little as a few dollars. The Cheapest Computer on the Web PT2: All we need now is this "Tower". That is the big box. What you do is buy a "Barebones Tower with Memory". This is a computer with no hard drive and no DVD/CD Drive. Plug in the hard drive and CD from your old computer and presto, super fast home computer system for around $200. Some Barebones Computer Towers come with everything but DVD/CD Drive, Hard Drive & Memory. Even if you have to buy the Hard Drive, DVD Drive & Memory, you can still keep the cost under $300-$400 |
